Secretary ~ Attends RE Committee meetings one evening every other month to take notes and distribute minutes.
Party Coordinator ~ Plans and runs two family get-togethers every year (one in the fall - Halloween and one in the spring). This person would plan the activity, work with the DREs on a date, gather any supplies needed or volunteers they might need as well, and then host the event.
If you are a newer member of our congregation looking to get your feet wet in volunteering - this is a great opportunity! Neither position takes up a lot of time and it's a great way to get involved in the nuts and bolts of how our program runs... If you're a veteran who hasn't had the opportunity to volunteer in the past - this is great for you too!
